The Enclave – Lifestyle Destination Combined Office, Dining and Art

The Ruth Group developed and activated approximately 20,000 RSF of high-end food and beverage retail spaces at The Enclave in Torrance CA. MMA collaborated with TRG team to connect with the potential food tenants to design and develop their individual spaces. MMA oversees the design development, coordination with restaurant equipment vendors, hood manufacturers and contractors. The team also provided building and health code analysis, required details and calculations prior and during plan check review and construction.

The following restaurants at The Enclave are now open to serve the South Bay community.

Pho123 Contemporary PHO, Grill and Tea

Approximately 2,500 SF space was designed to showcase a modern Vietnamese restaurant with full-service kitchen, open beer and wine bar plus enclosed tea and juice service bar. The Enclave provided modern patio seating for the customers. The building has folding glass doors which when open, connect the interior dining, the private patio, and the common area lounge seating. The interior dining area is simple and cozy with an open ceiling, track lighting, polished concrete flooring, painted walls, tiles and decorative panels for the counters.

HiroNori Craft Ramen Restaurant

MMA developed approximately 1,300 SF space with a full kitchen, complete with back-to-back cooking hood and equipment layout. MMA incorporated the inspired traditional dining experience featuring Japan’s widely popular ramen Isolation booth. The dining areas highlighted the bar seating with individual booth divider and four-seater isolated booths for group dining. Enclosed kitchen has openable tempered glass windows in front of each table or counter for private service. Vibrant oak wood color and concrete feel interior finish complimented the humble look of the owner’s vision of a traditional Japanese Ramen shop.

Long Beach Fish Grill

TRG introduced the restaurant owner to MMA to put together a quick service seafood restaurant in The Enclave, building B. The space is approximately 1,200 SF, with a private patio, overflow sitting and grass area in front. The interior is modern, with open dining that connects to the private patio when the glass overhead doors open. MMA and her team collaborated to create a functional design for the full-service kitchen, front counter, restroom, and dining hall making sure everything is code compliant. Organic style Lighting, Finishes, Artworks, and furniture blended well to conceive a cozy, fun and laid-back atmosphere.

Chef Mike's Steak House

MMA team designed the full kitchen layout, restroom, and dining area for Space 4 in Building B for the new restaurant approximately 1,200 SF for Chef Mike’s Steak House at The Enclave in Torrance CA. MMA provided kitchen layout, dining area furniture layout, space planning which includes the restroom and front service counter. The team put together a set of plans with complete Equipment and material finish schedules for Health Department. MMA over saw the design development, provided code analysi,s and assisted the client’s team during plan check review with the City and County health department.
