3rd and Fairfax

This urban infill project is a mid-20th century style retail commercial center of approximate 25,000 sqft on 75,000 sqft of land. The project consists of a +/-16,000 sqft specialty market along with +/-9,000 sqft soft goods retail and restaurants use. The project was planned on an urban design placing the primary facade along the Fairfax Avenue frontage to extend the urban feel and pedestrian experience the full length of the block, because the parking is created on a separate site along 3rd Street a paseo and courtyard was designed as a pedestrian link, focal feature and primary point of entry to all of the retail spaces. The Architecture recalls the architectural style of the 1950s, when the area was initially developed many buildings of that area have become historical Los Angeles landmarks.
